El Basha Market and Grill: Authentic Middle Eastern Cuisine in Hemet, CA

I came here when they were first opening up their doors which was about a year ago came back. It is like an eatery and market. Everything is stocked and super friendly. The people who work there highly recommend this place. The food is excellent and fresh.

Showed up very late one day ordering Shawarma and it was still delicious and nice. The brother working here was so nice we talked for a bit very friendly brother. Great place

My family and I love this place! The food is always fresh, healthy, and delicious. The owner is wonderful, and the employees are very friendly. The customer service is consistently amazing. This is a unique spot for the city of Hemet. If you're looking for something new, exciting, or different from what's available at every corner in Hemet, you should come here. If you want to support a small business, then this is the place for you!

Ordered Chicken Shawarma and Gyro Platter. Both tastes really good. Definitely to go place for Mediterranean food in the town. Person at cash register Warmly welcomes you, treats very nicely. Will shop again. 10/10.

The new owner/gentleman at the register and the young lady back in the kitchen were very nice and helpful. I ordered some hot food and ate half of it there at there tables in the store. They had hot coffee and some ethnic cookies out for customers to enjoy. The food was delicious, although the portion of gyro meat seemed just a little smaller than usual, but still decent size. The cook was very nice and accommadated my special request with kindness. The man/owner at the register was very friendly and offered me a sample of sesame cookies. delicous. I asked him if he owned the store, he said, "yes new owner" I told him they were much more friendlier and kind than the last owner. The old owners never spoke to me or said hello when I walked in. But would speak to their regulars in their own language. I only went there because their is no other hot mediteranean/Greek food in town. Now I will gladly go there from now on. I highly recommend this restaurant/grocery store. The hummus and babaganous is made in store and is so flavoful and the friendly atmosphere is most important to me. Thank you for making me feel welcomed.

Quiet little market with good food! Went in looking for Mediterranean food. This was exactly what I was looking for. Owner is very nice and welcoming. Check it out for yourself and try the food. Btw wait time is 10-15 minutes once you place your order. There is a 3% charge for card payment. Use cash if you can.

We had El Basha cater our son's wedding reception and it was amazing! The food was ready at the time we had arranged to pick it up and arrived fresh and piping hot. It was absolutely delicious and the guest were very impressed. Tony is a true professional and was a pleasure to do business with.

GREAT SERVICE! Greeted as soon as I walked in, friendly and helpful. Placed a food order, bought a few items from the store. The Gyro wrap was delicious, nicely seasoned. The Chicken Shawarma wrap was really tasty, chicken was moist and delicious. Tzatziki sauce was fresh and brighten the flavor of the wraps. Definitely will be back.
